NORTHERN BANK AT BELFAST INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
LONDON – Leading airport media specialist, EYE, is delighted to announce that Northern Bank is the first advertiser to appear in Belfast International Airport’s new ‘Core’ building.

This remarkable glass-fronted building is the height of two double decker buses and big enough to host a five-a-side football match. EYE worked with Northern Bank to create four bespoke lightboxes; the campaign extends the length of the new corridor connecting the check-in area with departures. Featuring a landscape scene from Northern Ireland, the campaign promotes the different products available from the bank with quotes highlighting the different ways in which their customers receive financial help and advice.

John Rankin, General Manager, Eye Fly UK, said: “EYE is delighted to have Northern Bank as a long-term investor in the media at Belfast International Airport. The airport’s recent refurbishment is testament to its importance to Northern Ireland’s economy as the second largest airport on the island of Ireland. EYE is pleased and proud to have worked with Belfast International Airport and Northern Bank on such an engaging campaign.”

The first two phases of a £10million refurbishment project designed to create a modern, spacious, passenger-focused facility have been completed at Belfast International Airport. The initial phase involved the relocation of central security search to the departures concourse, a move designed to speed up passengers' journeys through the airport, whilst the second phase saw the opening of the ‘Core’ building. Still to come is a reconfiguration of the duty free area, creating space for over 20 retail, food and beverage outlets.

Eye Fly manages six airport advertising concessions in the United Kingdom including Manchester Airports Group (MAG: Manchester Airport, East Midlands Airport, Bournemouth Airport and Humberside Airport), Cardiff Airport and Belfast International Airport in Northern Ireland.
